Hello!

I am selling my RT-64-S mouthpiece and my 5+1 Miraphone Elektra!

I have stopped playing almost entirely, and thus, do not need these items anymore. The Elektra has 2 medium sized wrinkles on the bell that should be easy and inexpensive to fix. These wrinkles occurred while moving, and just have not been fixed yet since I do not play. I have tried to take photos of them, so they can be viewed. The Elektra plays literally amazing, and everything moves well. The RT-64-S is in near perfect condition and was used with the Elektra.

Because there are wrinkles in the bell, I will ask for $9,000, but it is firm. And, I am asking $75 for the RT-64-S.

If you are interested in either of these items, please send me an email at benjaminjweissmusic@gmail.com.

Thanks,
Ben Weiss

I forgot to mention, I live near Cleveland, OH, but I go between there and Nashville, TN too. I am happy to drive a little bit to facilitate a sale!

Benji, thanks for posting about a nice looking horn. Maybe you can add some info for us like, when was this made? Serial number? are you the only owner and how long have you played it? Have you played it since the bell fold to check sound and if any other moving damage occurred? If the bell fold repairs are relatively cheap (<$500), why would you not get that done and then sell it for $10,000+? Hope this horn finds a good home.

I've owned the horn for about a 1-2 years. I do not remember the exact timeline. There are not any repair people I trust nearby, hence why I can't get it done. They closest repair person I trust is in Columbus, which is about 2 hours away. I have a lowered price, because I already posted in the range I was hoping to sell, and no one was interested. I need a faster sale, so I made the price a more do-able number. I haven't checked the sound after the bell wrinkles because I do not play anymore. I am physically disabled and I just can't play accurately anymore. So, I don't think it makes sense to check playability. They are easy wrinkles to fix, and won't affect playability as soon as they are fixed. As you can see from the pictures, there are no other mentionable dents are scratches. Hope this answers your questions.

Also, the serial number is available to see in the photos I included. To make it easier to see I added a photo closer up, so it can be seen faster. Let me know if you have any other questions.
