If anyone is interested, this was a really cool venue to play in. It was an actively used bull fighting ring for a long time. It’s now the performance venue for Numskull Brass Festival, in Caudete, Spain. The floor is still dirt and it has no roof. The acoustics were surprisingly good, and this recording was made by my bass trombonist on his iPhone from the audience. Oh…and it was 11pm at night and 105 degrees…
Hope you enjoy it!
