Ive ordered two. The first is supposed to arrive by 11 SEP. The second one early October. Might be a scam. If nothing comes, I'll ask for a refund.

Make absolutely certain that you get BOTH of the gloves. Totally worth it if you get those sweet gloves. Mine only came with one, so I had to do a Michael Jackson at my first recital.
“Tito, give me some tissue.”

The picture is obviously AI.
Trigger mechanism sort of reminds me of those pictures of four square chimneys on the bottom that become three round chimneys on the top.
I suppose puns are okay - if you can't come up with any better type of humor, but I believe - if we're going to stay in the animal kingdom, in this discussion - the most appropriate would be a pushmepullyou (which does little).

I had this fleeting thought to order one and see what it was like since I could just return it cost-free to Amazon, but ...
Has anyone looked into the seller?
My friendly AI informs me that the seller's name "renzhaojiadeshangdian" is a Romanized Chinese description written as a single word and made up of the parts
Renzha (渣男 / 人渣): Scumbag or trash person.
Jia (家): Home or 's (possessive particle).
De (的): Of / 's (possessive particle).
Shangdian (商店): Shop or store.
which the AI renders colloquially as "The Scumbag's Shop" or "Scumbag Family's Store". Without knowing the source of my query, the AI speculated it might be "a username or store name of a Chinese seller on global platforms like Amazon, eBay, or AliExpress".
So I thought that maybe the purchasing experience might have a low probability of being an enriching one.

I wonder if they are actually merely pictures of trombones, and if frames are included.

Or if it's really a trumpet (which seems to be mentioned a couple of times) and the pictures are meant only as kind of allegorical references to the product. Or if it's a trumpet "upgraded" to a "Bb tenor slide trombone".
I'm looking forward to a report on the craftsmanship, which "is amazing".
Won't we all be astonished and be rushing to buy one if it turns out that it's actually a perfectly playable trombone? I suppose that if the case is a good one, you could throw the horn away and still call it a good deal.

I made the mistake one time of ordering a beautiful woven jacket for my wife as a present, and it ended up being some crappy thin cloth thing with a print on it.

The update is that it is marked as delivered but... nope. Amazon says to give it 48 hours more in case it shows up before disputing.

Those online Selman alto trombones were pretty popular 20 years ago, enough so that someone figured out a real deal leadpipe that made them even better, I think it was a Latzsch. A guy in trombone choir bought one and brought it to rehearsal, Rich Watson (rip) played it and was impressed enough that he bought one and iirc he played it in his recital.

That probably doesn't matter. As soon as you dispute it, it will show up at your door.

Is that picture a "How not to orient your Sousaphone bell if you have someone beside"you " illustration? The guy who's the target doesn't look real happy.

Just got my refund approved. But there is still supposed to be another in early October. Vanishingly unlikely.
I also ordered a satin brass trumpet with hard case and weighted mouthpiece and leadpipe that looks vaguely like one of those boutique horns. On Amazon. Used like new. $70. Will also be a few weeks

I found that often it is a computer that is predicting the arrival time and that the computer has no idea where the thing actually is. I've had a thing arrive two weeks after the computer said it did. Had gotten a refund from the seller, and then contacted the seller and re-paid for it.
My experience was with the USPS.
