If you haven’t read this but then do yourself a favour.
The Perfect Tuba written bij Sam Quinones is a great storyteller and very inspirational.
He focuses in this book not only on tuba players as a special breed of musician but also on certain bands and band directors that have been pivotal for lifting the integrity and spirits of students in hard stricken communities.
All and all, a very inspiring read!
My 2 cents,
Patrick
