Let's say I can get my hands on a very nice, lightly-played example of that enormous Cerveny 601 BBb kaiser tuba... What do you think it would go for on the open market?... I don't really play anymore, but it's fun to play on a tuba for a few weeks while I get it ready for sale.

Any thoughts?...

I've owned a couple of these, both somewhat cosmetically challenged, purchased and sold in the $2,000 range. If it's pretty, maybe $3k+ as a starting point.

4 valve version... 2k to 2500

Sorta depends on the age, too.

I've played a number of these over the years. A few were quite good. A few were quite bad. Let's hope this wasn't lightly played because it wasn't very good.
