I had one of these for a few years. Very responsive (low C no problem). Really liked it. Switched to a Besson 983. The Kanstul was several shades darker than euphonium. The Besson is several shades darker than the Kanstul. My Holton is several shades darker than the Besson. All 3 are excellent tubas
