Reluctanty, I've finally decided to list my ZO Thunderbird 6/4 CC. The horn is one of the first Thunderbirds made, I believe manufactured around 2018-2019. It's one of the best 6/4s I've played. It has a very nice upper register for a big tuba and it's much easier to play than a majority of the Eastman 6/4s l've tried
There's some plating wear on the heavy contact points on the tuba and the top main tuning slide. A couple dents in bottom bow and some very minor dings on the left side of the bugle, but none are on the guard so they should be very easy to roll out at a decent repair shop. There's been braces added by Martin Wilk, who also resoddered the lead pipe and added water keys. Comes with custom black finger buttons and a Messina Covers gig bag.
I'm mainly looking for trades for a PT-6 or a Gronitz PCK. I'll throw in a decent chunk of change to secure a PCK trade. I'II sell it straight for $7.5K, but I'm mainly looking for a trade. Located in Central Kentucky but willing to travel 12 hours to secure a trade for a PCK. I would meet halfway to secure a PT trade
ZO Thunderbird 5V 6/4 CC tuba FS/FT - $7.5K OBO
