🎺 Miraphone 1260 Eb Tuba - $3000 - Dallas, TX

[Texastuba]

Hello, and thanks for letting me post this here. I've never sold a tuba before, so please don't hesitate to ask for more information.

Vintage German Build – Warm, Responsive Player

Selling a vintage Miraphone 1260 Eb tuba (Made in Germany, 1971) -very clean condition for its age. This is a genuine German-made instrument with the build quality and tone Miraphone is known for.

This horn plays easily with a warm, centered sound and solid intonation — a great option for players looking for something more characterful than modern student instruments, Small dent on outer bow — purely cosmetic, does not affect playability

Features:
• 4 top-action valves
• Compact, comfortable Eb design
• Rich, warm tone with quick response
• Lighter and more nimble than large BBb tubas

Why this tuba stands out:
• Vintage Miraphone craftsmanship
• Great balance of playability and tone
• Ideal for brass band, quintet, or solo use
• Excellent value vs newer $6k+ Eb tubas

Asking $3000 or reasonable offers, and would ship at buyer's expense. You can email me at garreth togo at gmail dot com

Hello everyone - I just lowered the price to $3000. Please let me know if you'd like more info!

I sent this over to Karl at Denton Big Brass for refurbishment as a consignment sale - he's made it look much nicer and cleaner and has serviced it.

So I'm taking down my photos which reflect its old condition. Please contact

Denton Big Brass on carl@dentonbigbrass.com if you want to know more! Thanks

Looks like a great little horn. I hope you find a good home for it.
