SOLD York 1913 Model 33 4/4 Bb Tuba
Hello,
I’m selling my very old York model 33 Tuba. Would make for a great C conversion or restoration project, I just don’t have the time for that at the moment. All slides and valves move, the first valve has recently gotten a catch in it and needs to probably be addressed soon. It still functions and plays great, Smooth in the upper registers and large in the basement. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out, Asking price is $2000 and I can ship anywhere in the world for a price.

Horn is also listed on Reverb if the photo link doesn’t work.
Thanks for looking!

Cool tuba, but the shadow of the 3rd valve making a ghost 4th valve really had me fooled for a minute!

I picked up a beaten up one of these for like 400 bucks awhile back and it surprisingly played and sounded very nice. Could be a nice toy or tuba Christmas type of thing

That caught me off guard for a minute too, I was convinced there was a 4th valve somewhere that my eyes couldn't find.bort2.0 wrote: Sun Aug 02, 2026 6:10 pm Reverb says Tri-Cities TN/VA

It’s been a great practice horn, and an even better collector’s piece!Timtamtuba wrote: Wed Aug 05, 2026 1:55 pm I picked up a beaten up one of these for like 400 bucks awhile back and it surprisingly played and sounded very nice. Could be a nice toy or tuba Christmas type of thing

Congrats!
Out of my own curiosity, and only if you want to answer, did it sell here or on eBay?
