Re: PSA: how to remove stuck mouthpiece rims/shafts
D’oh. I’ve been using my glob of lead to smash my mouthpieces free all this time. Now I know I’m wrong. Thanks for the video!
j/k, very informative as always, thanks, Jake.

Re: PSA: how to remove stuck mouthpiece rims/shafts
It is amazing how well a little repeated light concussive maintenance works on freeing up stuff on instruments.. valve caps and bottom caps especially. I keep a drumstick around for just that purpose.
As amateur as they come...I know just enough to be dangerous.

It's a Windhager, https://www.whf-mouthpieces.at/
The website is outdated though
Thanks for the video Jake, the shaft on my Windhager keeps getting stuck

Re: PSA: how to remove stuck mouthpiece rims/shafts
As BramJ mentioned, these are Windhager modular mouthpieces. Over the past 20+ years they have become quite well known and well regarded in Europe. The sheer number of options is honestly staggering. The facebook page is quite active in case anyone is interested: https://www.facebook.com/p/WHF-Mouthpie ... cale=de_DE
