I'd buy some. I have a brass quintet and a tbone quartet where I could use something like that.

I am absolutely interested.
We'll be moving soon, too far from the 5 community bands I've played with the past 40 years. I'm thinking it'll be easier to find 3 other musicians than a whole new band in the new area.
Your arranging skills and generosity are appreciated!

Yeah, sorry. low reading comprehension scores obviously. I'm not sure if I'd take them for free... but I guess if you insist, ok. :facepalm2: We can always use more Christmas tunes for random instrumentation.

My group would use them at the local senior center as well in the lobby before our Xmas Concert & in about the downtown area during the holidays to promote the holiday concert.

The old green book - musical communism  They did sell a ton of them though didn’t they - had to of been a good money maker over the years for them.

I don't know the bands up there very well, but I'm hopeful you'll have a soft landing. I think any band would be more than happy to have a good player just show up at their doorstep and ask for a seat!

Brett,
Searching this site - https://www.minnesotawinds.org/community-band-directory - I see a number of full band opportunities available, also a swing band directed by a fellow I've played with many times. There should be some good things available, once we get the move going.
I'm pretty sure between you, Ron, and myself we could find another player within a reasonable drive to form an occasional low brass quartet, too. Or just tell jokes and go eat some steak. Being retired, I'm open to almost anything!

I am definitely interested. Our conductor took sick and may not be well by Christmas. So I expect we'll do a series of ensembles. More choices is always better. The Carol of the Bells you sent last year was very well received. Otherwise the prospect of playing around town is inviting.

I used your original 4-part books for several years when you first distributed the, years ago. I would definitely buy the updated edition. Please let me know when available.

Re: Four-Part Brass Choir Christmas Book (NOT Tuba-Euph)

Christmas in August is on a school / work day this year so we were talking about a quintet for those few that can make it (not even sure if I can take the day off yet).

I’m going to throw this past the group to see what they think and we may add some of it into the rotation. Will check in and let you know what they think and how it goes in rehearsal.
