Price: $10,000 USD (not CAD) + shipping - negotiable

Used Hirsbrunner C and F tubas have recently been listed for around $12,000–$14,000 USD.

My asking price is $10,000 USD, as this instrument still has its original brass/plastic composite valves. That said, I have never experienced any sticking issues with them, and they should be more than adequate for 98% of players... or if someone chooses to invest in a set of modern metal valves, the market for used tubas continues to rise, so there's a good chance it could be worth $16,000–17,000 USD in ten years. Lol.

I'm selling the HB since I have 2 others C tubas

Please PM me for additional information, photos.

Note: This tuba has not yet been listed on Facebook. It will be posted there next Monday (2026-06-15)

Merci / Thank you

I've always wanted an HB-2. I almost had one last year.

Is the 5th valve a flat whole step? I don't recall seeing an HB-2 with a straight 5th valve slide. I've always seen them doubled over. GLWTS!!

Edit:

You DID explain the 5th valve. Doh!
