$50 seems about right to me for any one of these items, but I'll entertain offers for multiple parts. I mainly just want to see them go to a good home.
- Conn 40H TIS outer slide: The tuning mechanism is complete and functional, and the tubes appear to be straight and without dents or rot. This should be compatible with any Conn .500" bore inner slide from the late 1920s through the end of the Elkhart era (1970-ish). It would be a great replacement for a broken/missing 40H outer slide, or a great way to convert a .500" bore Conn to TIS.
- Contrabass trombone/cimbasso bell: This is the stem of a Besson (small bore) baritone bell and the flare of a Conn mellophone bell cut and soldered together. The diameter is 10.5". I had intended to use this to build a contrabass trombone, but I've decided that I have too many other projects and I've given up on that one. I have a feeling that it would work really well for a frankenstein contrabass trombone or cimbasso project.
- SOLD--Complete Blessing B88 F-attachment: Everything functions, and it includes the string-action lever, spring, and mount. This would be a great, inexpensive way to add an F-attachment to a medium or large bore tenor trombone.
- SOLD--Conn upright euphonium bell: Silverplated, one-piece, 11" diameter. Has nice art deco "naked lady" engraving. It would be perfect for someone wanting to swap out a detachable/forward facing bell with a one-piece upright bell, or to replace a crushed bell.
- SOLD--Conn top-action four valve euphonium block: .562" bore through all four valves. Missing the finger buttons and some of the fourth valve tubing, and the third valve slide needs to be put back together. However, the valves themselves work very smoothly and have excellent compression. This valve block could effect an extremely inexpensive valve rebuild or fourth valve conversion on an old American euphonium. Or, it could be a great place to start for a large bore tenor or bass valve trombone project.
Thanks for looking!
