I'm new to this thread. Looks like these mouthpieces are of similar dimensions to the Sidey Helleberg (ie wider inner diameter) but not the same.
Rim 33.50mm flat rim
Backbore 8.50mm
Shaft end size 13.20mm
Sidey (by way of internet archive)

Re: The Berliner Tuba Helleberg replica Model BT-H.
I have a couple Sidey mouthpieces here with me right now. The "standard" version is ever so slightly larger in cup volume than the Conn or my Helleberg replica and the rim has a very sharp bite which I appreciate, but is also not quite like the original 1970s Conn versions. I would describe it as an "improved" Helleberg. Many years ago Paul told me that his was based on an original Helleberg, but I havent seen one yet quite like his.

Re: The Berliner Tuba Helleberg replica Model BT-H.
I ordered one and received it recently so I thought I'd share my initial impressions here. Even though I've recently embarked on a journey of playing some vastly odd-shaped mouthpieces (see my thread on the Dr. Young pieces) I figured I should keep at least one more conventionally-shaped mouthpiece around just in case the sound I get from the funnel mouthpiece didn't suit a particular playing situation. And since the Helleberg was already a familiar shape to me, I wanted to support what Jake was doing and pick one of these up to use as the token "normal" mouthpiece in my rotation. Here are my thoughts:
The finish work on these are absolutely exceptional. It has by far the best tactile feel on the lips on any mouthpiece I've played and I could be fooled into thinking the rim was gold plated if I were blindfolded. in addition, the flat, relatively narrow shape of the rim adds to the comfort factor for me.
Tone and response wise, it's everything I've always expected and appreciated from other Hellebergs I've tried (Several Conn and Schilke examples as well as the plastic Kellys) but with a subtle bit of something extra to it; An ever-so-slightly more rounded, smoother, fuller sound.
All and all, for my playing style it won't replace my Dr. Young as my daily driver, but it will absolutely be my go-to when the situation calls for it to be the more appropriate musical choice, and if you're looking for a Helleberg-style mouthpiece with quality far above the off-the-rack options, I'd definitely recommend it!
