I am selling my nearly mint-condition Miraphone Hagen 496 5/4 BBb tuba in gold brass with 5 valves and a trigger for the second valve.
The instrument plays and tunes exceptionally well and, in my opinion, is one of the best modern all-around BBb tubas on the market. The response is excellent, the sound is large and powerful, while still remaining very flexible and comfortable to play.
Included are:
- 2 different tuning slides
- original gig bag
The tuba has only been played very little and is practically in like-new condition.
I am only selling it because I ordered the larger Miraphone Hagen 497 6/4.
Worldwide shipping is possible.

Hi Daniel, I’m interested for sure. I saw you play this on YouTube. Beautiful sound and the kicker seems like a good work around since they put the 5th slide in the way of 1st. Do you have a general idea what shipping to USA would be like?
