Mouthpiece recommendations for JP 377 Eb

Post by cthuba »

Hello All!

I’m currently playing on a Roger bobo solo mouthpiece. I enjoy that mouthpieces but I would like the blow to be a bit more open feeling.

Thank you,
Mark

Miraphone Tu27 Rose Solo . very similar cup as the Bobo Solo but a larger throat. Larger diameter though.

@bloke could correct me if I'm trying but a Sellmansberger Solo #2 throat with a 32.3mm rim diameter.

I just replaced my Bobo Symphonic with a Sellmansberger Solo #0... I liked the tight throat but wanted a narrower rim.
As amateur as they come...I know just enough to be dangerous.

Suggest either a Mercer and Barker or a Denis Wick.
