Year of manufacture of Old Brass Instruments
Asking about the date of manufacture of this Coronet Conn Wonder model. There is a PAT number on one of the valves i.e PAT 15 JUNE 1886. Is that a year of manufacture or a patient number? Any historical notes are most welcome. Also reference website, literature etc etc

No serial?
Looks like it's set up for Bb and A tuning bits. I associate that engraving with the early 1900s-1910s. Hornucopia says Bb/A "Wonder" cornets were made between 1886 and 1905. No mention of Worcester on the engraving so probably post-1890s.

Serial number would help.
