Eastman EBC836 6/4 CC Tuba w/gig bag and case - $8000

For sale is my Eastman EBC836 6/4 CC tuba, along with a barely used Miraphone gig bag and the original hard case. I bought this from Dillon Music in summer of 2022, and Matt Walters previously had placed a patch on the fourth valve branch. There was a small pinhole leak there, and the patch has remained in good shape since then. Matt said then that it's the type of thing that might need to be further addressed in 20 years or so, but for right now it's just fine. There is also a dent at the bottom of the bell stack, as well as some small little pings and scratches elsewhere--all from normal usage and nothing that affects the horn at all. The fifth valve is also the newer configuration (inline with the branch), which I think plays better than the older configuration.

Why am I selling? Well, I am moving soon, and moving costs a lot of money. Also, I am thinking of going back to a rotary horn, even though I have greatly enjoyed playing this instrument. So, I'm going to send it off to a new home!

Horn is located in Bloomington, IN, and I am willing to drive up to four hours in one direction for a hand off in person. No shipping at this time. Price is &8,000 for the whole package. Payment will only be accepted in the form of an official cashier's check.

How well does the tuba fit in the Miraphone bag, and which SKU# is it? (Alternatively, which Miraphone is it intended for?)
