Re: Learn to play the bass guitar.

Re: Pretty close to the truth

In 2000, I was in NYC for OpSail 2000 (Parade of the Tall Ships). I’m in the band on the flight deck of the JFK. We had a detail in the band, to watch Bill. They put Hillary next to Dr. Ruth.

Re: another pin on the map

It’s interesting to ask, have you ever sold tuba mouthpieces to people living in Enumclaw, or Longview, Washington? Just wanna know if there were actual sales.

I saw that too. Damn fine job! There’s some really good musicians, including the violas, in that orchestra. Go get ‘em.

Re: Conn-Selmer to shut down Eastlake

Seemingly yet more jobs being taken from workers in the USA and given to folk in the far east where wages are real cheap. It might be a hard headed business decision or it might be a case of maximising profits with no thought for anything else … you decide. I do buy goods made in China, but what ...

Well, I need something similar. I think I’ve got a decent Hercules one. Been using an Alps chair. I have a rebuilt left hip. And only want to rehearse up to 90 minutes. Plus, wtf do some of these people do for over 2 hrs?
