Space Force strenuously objects to this outrageous omission! :tuba:

I wasn't thinking of this during my last post since I was focusing on Air Force Song, but I do hope that you'll include the Space Force Song, "Sempre Supra" in your arrangement. The Air Force owns the copyright for this one ...

To be honest - you’ve got so many variants now I can’t remember what’s what anymore. Is this the one you originally designed for your Cimbasso?

Seriously - that’s a joke. Do you not have a sense of humor? Do you really think the approach would be to scream at her (and when did I mention scream) or actually throw her off a mountain???

So far, everything you've said has been full of aggression and wanting to punish bureaucrats. I can't ...

These old hickory handles from a half century ago are much better wood, and this one has only shrunk, it's not suffering from any deterioration otherwise.

My full length sledgehammer from 1906 which my grandfather bought when he built his house -has the same issue - it shrunk. Your little ...

:gaah: :smilie6:

Yeah, but that's just not helpful. You want to win the fight, and not just scream about the injustice of it.

The school superintendent sounds like a misinformed budget cutter type trying to impress her superiors with how tight she can run a ship and keep costs down vs how much she can improve kids lives.

It doesn't sound like that at all to me. Rather, it sounds as though the superintendent has some ...

Does any entity other than the People's Republic of China really own anything in the People's Republic of China? (referring to the Japanese company having their own factory in China).

Actually -the answer is yes now. Recent reforms have made it possible to have a Wholly Foreign Owned ...

Is Bruce Moss still the Director of Music at Bowling Green?

When my old HS band director & director of Music LaVerne Reimer retired after my senior year in 1976 which was his 25th year (he survived 2 Navy ships sinking in WWII - including Pearl Harbor - my school - 5400 kids with maybe 650 in the ...

I'm with you bloke, my "conservatism" does not align with the current flavor of conservatism hoisted on the general populace.

I'm far too limited spending and isolationist to be a "Republican."

Neither of the two primary parties reflect I believe the core of their constituency. They are both ...

Mary Ann Is there an update on the tuning situation with this horn? What shape are the valves in? Do you know what work has been done to the horn over the years and its approximate age?

I’m trying to find a friend of mine who was a trombonist I played with years ago in a small jazz combo. He ...

Touch any part or worse move their tuba.

In my own case this has not only annoyed me the tuba player, but also resulted in a few haymakers being thrown.

To paraphrase Mr. Whipple - “Don’t touch the tuba!”

Okay, but is this true?

That is some of the most ridiculous b.s. I have ever read......."clocking your mouthpiece". Something that is a perfectly spherical shape/mass inserted into the receiver a ...

lol - today I learned there was a Jaws 2. Reading thru that thread it’s amazing how many thought they had the answer. So it’s the 185 on Jaws and the F on Jaws 2. :teeth:

Did the Great White come back from resting in the eternal deep for the return of Jaws 2???

How in the world did TJ end up being involved in that bit? Did he do other stuff with Weird Al?

If you're an accordion player who slings polkas, you likely have your tuba players on speed dial. Al contributed a remembrance to the program I put together for Tommy's memorial concert:

Not to worry - all will be fine once “the means of production are seized”.

Never had a problem with King bits leaking or getting loose. I play a bunch of pre war kings - I do use pre war King bits. Both bits and horns though are very low mileage even though they are pushing 95 years old. Perhaps since you’re old the leaking is coming from you and not the horn...

While I’m not in theory a fan of tariffs period - the whole NAMM argument is spurious at best and pretty much just self serving rhetoric. I always enjoy the made up economic benefits these outfits come up with which completely ignore the costs of throwing American Manufacturers under the bus and ...
