I do hane an imperial but maybe I tried it with the wrong rims. I'll put those C4LA rims I own on it and give that a shot.

Re: WTB: Bowl or Geib style mouthpiece

bloke,
Bach 22 is my go to testing mouthpiece and I didn't like it. Ironically, the guy I sold my blokepiece solo to said that the solo should work well on this horn. I've been too busy to catch up with him to test this theory.

3/4 tuba gig bag recommendations

I recently purchased a Weirl 3/4 Bb which is reported to be the size of a Yamaha YBB-621. What is the best fitting bag for this instrument?

Re: WTB: 4 valve BBb 3/4 tuba

I just sold a 3 valve Olds 099 because I wanted the 4th valve for better tuning the horn had one note (Gb) that I could not get in tune.đŸ¤£

No need to rush. The cash is ready, but honestly, I prefer rotors. If nothing comes up, I'll definitely look your way.

If you have any pics of the horn, send ...

Question: I've seen a few of the video's of folks playing these tubas. Has anyone here played one and if so what are your thoughts? I see they are available online at Brook-Mays.

Thanks for the replies. I figured it was an Olds O-99, but the other engraving had me scratching my head.

Tuba identification help.

So, I bought a smaller tuba for band stuff and lighter gigs.

What is the model, and is there a meaning to the small engraving under the Olds logo?

SOLD: Sellmansberger Symphony underpart and Fair Dinkum Rim

This mouthpiece has been collecting dust for the last couple of years, so it’s time for it to go to someone that will use it. 2 piece version, no drops, or dings. Some light surface scratching on the rim…nothing you can feel while playing.

Price: $150 which includes USPS Priority mail shipping (U.S ...
