Wtb: Long shot of the century

Post by York-aholic »

Does anyone have a lead pipe for/from a new style (fixed upright bell) King 2341 that they’d consider selling?

I have 3 from the older detachable bell tubas, each having different bends/curves. I’ve put a bell on that has a wider throat than the stock bell stack and am thinking the new style’s lead pipe would be a better fit as the new style’s bell also has a wider bell throat.

Motivated buyer. :-)

Please send a PM if you have one. Heck I’d appreciate it if you have one in SoCal that I can hold up to my horn and confirm my hypothesis, then order a new one…

Thanks for reading!

Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC
